Monique’s approach to instruction gets you looking like you’ve grown up around horses. I was able to present as an authentic, confident rider that landed me a role within weeks of finishing her course.
Monique prepared me well for two western feature films, with Ethan Hawke and Tom Hanks. I was confident on set, and was able to focus on my acting, as well as being fully capable on my horse.
My look as an actor fits well with westerns, so I figured this city boy needed to learn how to ride a horse. Monique’s classes were perfect. I was contacted by a film production company from Tennessee who were planning a shoot at Monument Valley. I booked the role!
We filmed two short films at Monique’s home. The spacious rooms made for easy and varied camera set ups. The variety of rooms, neutral colors and ambient lighting were also a plus in that it fit the varied needs of each film.
